UPDATE: PCB Kidnapping Victim Found, 2 Arrested

UPDATE

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced today that alleged kidnapping victim Flor Esmeralda Turcio-Arias had been found in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Ms. Turcio-Arias has stated to law enforcement that she was driven to Hattiesburg by her abductors, taken to a home where she managed to escape through a bathroom window and contact police.

Police have arrested two male suspects in connection to the abduction and are currently questioning others who may have some involvement.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call in reference to the possible kidnapping of a Panama City Beach woman today shortly after noon.

Deputies responded to a home on 16th Street, Panama City Beach where a witness to the event stated that Flor Esmeralda Turcio-Arias was outside washing her car when two men drove up and forced her into their car and drove away.

Turcio-Arias is thirty-four years of age with wavy, dark, shoulder-length hair and dark eyes. She is 5’5” tall and about 140 pounds. She was wearing a pink shirt and blue jean shorts when taken.

The two men who took her are believed to be Hispanic. One is reported to be about fifty years of age and the other, the driver of the car, is believed to be about thirty years of age. Their vehicle is believed to be silver Nissan four-door vehicle, possibly a Versa.
