Police Seek Leads in Church Vandalisms

Authorities in North Carolina are investigating a string of church vandalisms.

They say this church in Anson County got the worst of it.

On Monday night, someone spray painted phrases like 'God is a lie' and 'house of the devil' on the building, as well as swastikas and racial slurs.

Air conditioning units were also torn out, stained glass windows were broken and a burned cross was left on the lawn.

Six other churches were also vandalized in Stanly county, but they were not broken into.

Police currently don't have any suspects.
