Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a car burglary incident in the Sand Hills area of Bay County.

On March 10, 2011, the suspect burglarized a truck on Tashanna Lane, off Spikes Road, off of Highway 77. Taken from the truck was the victim’s wallet and medications.

On March 11, 2011, at about 1:00 a.m., the victim’s credit card was used at the Wal-Mart on Panama City Beach. The suspect used the credit card to buy numerous items, many of which were for young children.

The suspect’s image was captured on security cameras and he appears to be a white male, possibly with a moustache and goatee, left-handed, and using a wallet with a chain that he keeps in his back left pocket.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Sgt. Newsome at the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 248-2120 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
