Police Seeking Suspect in Tuscaloosa Stabbing

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Police in Tuscaloosa say they're hunting a suspect who stabbed and wounded man in Tuscaloosa.

Reports say police had learned the suspect's identity but were still looking for him.

Tuscaloosa County police Capt. Loyd Baker says a 32-year-old man suffered a large cut to his chest and left arm early Saturday at the University Manor Apartments. He says the suspect then ran over the victim's right ankle and fractured it as he fled.

Investigators have obtained warrants charging the suspect with attempted murder and second-degree assault.
