PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) -- A Florida Panhandle man faces 20 years
in prison for fatally stabbing another man during a party.

As part of a deal with Bay County prosecutors, 25-year-old Chesley Williams agreed to plead no contest Wednesday to second-degree murder. His trial had been scheduled for next week.
He had been claiming self-defense.

Authorities say Williams stabbed 23-year-old Paul Anthony Brown at the Bluewater Inn in January. Both men had been outside smoking cigarettes when they got into a fight. There were no witnesses to the stabbing, and it's not clear how they began to argue.
Prosecutors say Williams stabbed Brown six to nine times.
A judge is scheduled to approve the plea deal and sentence Williams on Monday.

Wow, six to nine times he stabbed that guy ? He needs to go to prison. He wanted to be a smart a*s. He should have known that stabbing someone that many times was excessive. A self defence plea was not going to hold water.
