The Coffee County Sheriff's office, along with Alabama Beverage Control agents are on the scene of an operational moonshine still.
Sheriff's officials say they found it in a heavily-wooded area outside a swamp in the Curtis community off Coffee County Rd. at around 4:00 p.m., near the Covington County line.
The still was reportedly in the process of producing a batch of moonshine.
No arrest has been made at this time, but authorities say they have a person of interest in the case.
Sheriff Dave Sutton says it's the first operational still found in Coffee County in more than a decade.
