Meth Lab Destroyed

While on patrol on Wednesday, March 9th Holmes County Deputy Brett Wilson attempted to stop a pickup truck for not having a license plate.

While the Deputy followed the truck with blue lights flashing the passenger threw out a small cooler and then a small athletic bag.

The pickup finally stopped in Graceville just inside Jackson County.

Graceville Police Officers and Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and the containers thrown from the vehicle were found to contain elements and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as John Jobe Corbitt ((23) and the passenger was Ronald Joseph Ollig Jr ((22). A search of the vehicle revealed additional materials used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail to be held for Holmes County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Possession of listed chemicals used to manufacture meth.
