Marianna Liqour Theives Arrested

On 4-11-2011, 4-13-2011, and 4-19-2011 Shawnest Ivey and his girlfriend, Janice Smith did commit multiple retail thefts of liquor from the Big Star Liquor Store at 2992 Penn. Marianna, Fl. 32448. The defendants have been charged with felony retail theft for taking $845.93 dollars worth of liquor from the store during their spree of retail thefts. Janice Smith was arrested on 06-02-2011 based on a warrant derived from this complaint. Shawnest Ivey was arrested on 5-17-2011 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for an unrelated charge, but was served this warrant for Felony Retail Theft while incarcerated at the Jackson County Correction Facility.
In addition, on 6-3-2011 the Marianna Police Department responded to the Jackson County Correction Facility at 2737 Penn Ave. Marianna, Fl. 32448 in response to a report of inmate on inmate battery. According to the detention reports Inmate Shawnest Ivey struck Ronald Brown in the face while Brown was asleep in his bunk. The reason for the attack as stated by Ivey was that Brown was trying to talk with and looking at Ivey’s girlfriend Janice Smith when she was booked into the jail. Ivey is being charged with Battery inmate on inmate.

      Do you notice that the ones with the fancy names get put in jail as soon as they get in their teens. And they have a revolving jail house door installed just for them.
