IRON CITY, Ga. (AP) -- Three people are dead after authorities say a man opened fire on a car outside a convenience store in a tiny southeast Georgia town.
Authorities have charged 59-year-old Larry Easterwood with three counts of murder after the Saturday evening shooting in Iron City. Authorities identified the victims as Christy Scott, her husband Rodney Scott and Stacy Dismuke.
Seminole County Sheriff Health Elliott said there was a young girl in the car who was not injured. He said the girl was the Scotts' daughter.
Elliott said Easterwood and Dismuke had been living together but were estranged. Elliott said Dismuke had moved in with the Scotts.
A number listed for Easterwood could not be found. Elliott said he did not believe Easterwood has an attorney yet.
Iron City has a population of just 321.
