Man Arrested for Cultivation of Marijuana

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of another Chipley man, previously arrested for growing marijuana, during this year’s marijuana eradication initiative.

WCSO investigators, working off a tip, were able to locate the area the plants were being grown which was connected to the suspect’s property.

Materials used in the cultivating process led from the area the plants were being grown, to the suspect’s residence.

Arrested and charged was:

Scott Theodore Williams, 53 year old white male of 1654 Sunny Hills Blvd. Chipley, FL
• Cultivation of Marijuana

The majority of the sites found for this year were designed to produce enough marijuana to sell in large quantities, not just for personal use.

The latest eradication arrest resulted in dozens of plants ready for processing and packaging for sale.
