MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Police say they're searching for two suspects after one person was shot and killed and two others were wounded in the parking lot of a Waffle House restaurant.
Macon police spokeswoman Jami Gaudet says the gunfire happened Sunday morning at the Waffle House on Chambers Road.
Police said officers found 20-year-old Christopher Crowder unresponsive in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his face. He was later pronounced dead.
Authorities say another 20-year-old man was hospitalized with several gunshot wounds in the pelvic area. A 19-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet on her back, and was treated at a hospital and later released.
It was not immediately known what sparked the shootings.
