Kentucky Fugitive Arrested in NW Florida

Investigators of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrants Unit arrested Fugitive Christopher Alan McClain, DOB 9/10/1982, Friday morning. Investigators were advised that McClain was at the top of the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and a Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive for the Western Part of KY Department of Corrections.

Christopher Alan McClain had assumed the identity of his brother for approximately two years while residing in Destin Florida where people here knew him as Corey McClain. Christopher McClain possessed the Social Security Card, Passport and birth certificate of his brother, which he utilized to obtain a Florida ID Card, employment and utilities at his residence.

Christopher McClain has been on the run from Kentucky authorities for a warrant for Pre-Trail Diversion for Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree with a $100,000.00 bond. The copy of the warrant I have also includes “Assault in the Second Degree” and “Violation of Kentucky Protective Order.”

Christopher McClain was arrested at 955 Airport Rd. Destin Fl. and has been booked into the Okaloosa County Jail for being an Out Of State Fugitive From Justice.
