Jackson County Sheriff's Office Press Release

Jackson County Sheriff

11/14: A Jackson County Sheriff squad car

On December 29, 2010 William Hicks arrived at his residence, 1927 Lovewood Rd. Upon arrival he saw a four door white in color mid-size car in his backyard. The car appeared to be of the mid-2000s year model. Hicks drove around back and observed a black male appearing to be in his mid-twenties with short hair. This subject was the driver.

Hicks also observed a black male approximately six feet tall, weighing around 200 lbs, and appearing to be in his mid-twenties on his back porch. This subject was in possession of property owned by Hicks. The subject dropped the property and jumped into the car with the driver. The two subjects then fled westbound on Lovewood Rd. at a high rate of speed. Law enforcement officers were unable to locate the subjects after a saturated search of the area.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone observing strange vehicles or people on your property, your neighbor’s property, or in your neighborhood please notify your local law enforcement agency. While most people will be legitimate, it only takes one thief to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of your property.
