On 5/11/2012, Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft in the 4500 block of River Road.
Deputies found that the property’s perimeter fence had been cut allowing the suspects to access the property.
Numerous items were discovered missing from a barn on the property.
The most prominent items were a red 5x12 utility trailer, with a lift type gate, that had been converted for use as a portable welding device.
The trailer had been equipped with a red and black Lincoln portable welder/generator, an acetylene torch and tanks, a Dewalt chop saw, an aluminum tool box and a yellow bench vise mounted on the trailer fender well. Also missing from the barn was a red 1989 Honda Four-Trax ATV.
Investigators believe that the theft occurred between the evening hours of Wednesday 5/9/12 to Friday 5/11/12.
