Sheriff Andy Hughes says Curtis Tharp and James Beacham were arrested Tuesday after a homeowner on County Road 33 noticed one of the men coming out of her house.

She followed the suspects until deputies could pull over the vehicle and make an arrest earlier in the day,

Hughes says the men burglarized another home on Whitaker Road.

“We ask that all home owners and neighbors and other residents be on the lookout for each other.
If you see any strange vehicles these two individuals were driving a small van. It was a maroon colored van if you have seen that vehicle in your area lately where some thefts or burglaries occurred you know, please contact us,” said Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes.

Tharp and Beacham each face two counts of burglary.

They are currently in the Houston County jail with bonds totaling more than 30-thousand dollars.

Old burglars they watch your house and they learn your habits. Then when you leave they break in. So to foil them up, do something different every day. They will not know when to break in then. And yes, I know they read the news to but they still don't know even then.
