JACKSONVILLE (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Jacksonville man they say fatally shot his neighbor following an argument last month.

Police had been searching for Charles Edward Pearce since the Feb. 9 shooting. Authorities said Pearce was arguing with Michael McCue. McCue was found dead in his driveway. His stepfather was
also shot at, but was not injured. It's unclear what they were fighting about.

U.S. Border Patrol agents found 30-year-old Pearce in Arizona in a van, armed with a knife and rifle. He was extradited on March 11.

He was charged with second-degree murder Friday night.
