On Friday, August 23rd the Walton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an active methamphetamine lab located at 310 Ammons Drive DeFuniak Springs, Florida, located in the Mossy Head area.
A search warrant was obtained for the location by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit, and upon execution of the warrant and thorough search, a methamphetamine lab was recovered along with an excess of two hundred grams of methamphetamine oil, narcotics equipment used to manufacture the drug; including chemicals, cooking vessels, smoking devices and hypodermic syringes.
The resident,37-year-old Scott E. Ammons was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine in excess of two hundred grams, a first degree felony and Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a second degree felony and Possession of Narcotic Equipment, a first degree misdemeanor.
Four other individuals were also arrested during the execution of the search warrant at Ammons residence; Tamilin Richardson, 51-year-old Tamilin Richardson, 39-year-old Melissa L. Fabozzi, 43-year-old Joseph K. Molbert and 34-year-old Robbie R. Roper, all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. All four were arrested and charged with Principle to Trafficking Methamphetamine in excess of two hundred grams, a first degree felony, Principle to Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a second degree felony and Possession of Narcotic Equipment, a first degree misdemeanor. In addition, Fabozzi was also charged with Possession of Marijuana less than twenty grams, a first degree misdemeanor.
All five individuals were arrested without incident and transported to the Walton County Department of Corrections where bond will be set at first appearance.
