OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities say they've identified the
remains of a missing pregnant woman from Auburn and charged the
father of her unborn child with capital murder.
Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson says 30-year-old Keith Lemar
Ware was arrested Tuesday in Opelika and faces a capital murder
charge in connection with the death of 31-year-old Cherri Dawson.
The woman was last reported seen on Oct. 8.
Authorities in Tallapoosa County, Ala., found remains last week
near Camp Hill.
The chief says it was not known at the time if the remains were human or animal.
On Monday, police confirmed that the remains belong to Cherri Dawson.
