DOTHAN, AL - A former Eufaula teacher convicted on sex charges will serve her entire sentence.

Carrie Perkins was a teacher at Parkview Christian School in Eufaula.

Perkins is serving two consecutive 7-year sentences for rape and sodomy of a 15-year-old student. The incident happened at a Dothan motel in 2011.

Last week, Perkins asked for the sentences to run at the same time. Judge Butch Binford denied the request Tuesday.
