Escaped Enterprise Prisoner Turns Self In

ENTERPRISE, AL - An escaped prisoner turns himself in to police in Enterprise.

Joshua Griffin got away from officers at the Coffee County Courthouse Monday afternoon.

He had been arrested on an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

Authorities say Griffin was being transported in an elevator when he ran out of a side door. He was still handcuffed.

Griffin turned himself in this morning.

In addition to the probation violation charge, Griffin now also faces escape charges.
