ENTERPRISE, AL - On March 19, 2013 at 1900hrs. (7:00PM) the Enterprise Police Department received information from that a possible sex crime has occurred involving the Youth Director from St. Luke Church.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the EPD initiated an investigation at this time. During the investigation, it was discovered that Timothy Thomas, 25 of Enterprise, AL, allegedly had sexual intercourse with a juvenile under the age of consent.
It was determined that this sex crime took place between Feb. 28 and March 18, 2013. St. Luke Church officials are fully cooperating with law enforcement during this investigation.
The investigation has shown that no crime was committed at the church.
Timothy Thomas was charged with Rape 2nd and placed in the Coffee County Jail.
The investigation is currently ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
