Dothan Woman Steals Car, Leads Police on Chase

On December 26, 2010 the Dothan Police Department responded to a burglary in progress in the 100 block of Westmont Drive. The victim told police that a woman he recognized had knocked on his door but he would not let her in. He said when denied entry, the suspect went to the back of the house, kicked in the window and entered the house. The victim called 911 immediately and the suspect, realizing police were on the way, took the victims vehicle and fled from the scene. Alert patrolmen located the vehicle and attempted to stop the suspect and a short pursuit ensued. The suspect crashed the vehicle and was transported to the hospital for moderate injuries. Annie Enfinger has been charged with reckless endangerment and has additional charges for burglary pending when released from the hospital.
