A Dothan man is behind bars charged with attempted murder.
Ozark Police responded to a domestic argument involving a firearm at an apartment complex on Eufaula Street Tuesday morning.
18-year-old Kenell Jones reportedly pointed the weapon at a female victim and pulled the trigger, but the weapon misfired.
Jones was taken into custody during a traffic stop later in the day. He's charged with attempted murder, theft and intimidating a witness.
Investigators say they later learned two relatives, 42-year-old Audrey Jones and 22-year-old Demario Jones, attempted to keep him from being arrested. They're charged with hindering prosecution.
All three are being held in the Dale County Jail without bond.
