Dothan Woman Charged with Arson After Lighting Couch on Fire

DOTHAN, AL - On December 20, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 200 block of Roberts Street in reference to an arson complaint.

Investigators say Sheree Wright purposely set a couch on fire that the victim, a white male, was sitting in. The incident occurred following an argument the two subjects had earlier that day.

Wright has been arrested and charged with first degree Arson. Her arrest now brings this case to a close.

• Sheree LaJean Wright, white female, 33 years of age, of Roberts Street was arrested and charged with first degree Arson. A bond amount has been set at $10,000.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
