Dothan Woman Arrested for Setting Boyfriend's Bed on Fire

DOTHAN, AL - On April 2, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a reason investigation involving an attempted murder.

Investigators say on April 2nd 2014, Gracie Johnson set fire to the bed of the victim, who was also her boyfriend, while the he slept. The victim escaped the fire with no injuries but was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

Johnson was arrested at her home a short time later.

· Gracie Mae Johnson, white female, 54 years of age, of Somerset Street was arrested and charged with one count of Attempted Murder and first degree Attempted Arson. Bonds have been set and total $2,000,000.
