The Dothan Police Department, assisted by the Alabama Bureau of Investigations made two felony arrests following a recent “cyber-crimes” investigation.
Investigators say computer equipment belonging to Samantha Bryant, 30, of South Oates Street, and Ellison Dooling, 51, of South Oates Street, was seized after receiving information of inappropriate behavior involving the solicitation of child pornography.
Investigators conducted a search of the computer owned by the subjects and found multiple pictures of individuals under the age of 17 involved in pornographic acts.
Byrant and Dooling were taken into custody and both have been charged with 44 counts of possession of obscene matter containing visual depiction of persons under 17-years-old involved in obscene acts.
Their bond has each been set at $660,000.
