Lativia Snell, 38, of Old Webb Road, was arrested on Tuesday. Authorities say on July, 17 Snell went into three local banks and attempted to cash checks believed to have been taken from a victim’s mailbox.
Snell was unsuccessful in cashing the checks; however, employees at the banks were able to obtain her personal information which helped investigators identify her as the suspect.
Snell has been charged with three counts of second degree possession of a forged instrument. Her bond has been set at $15,000.
