Upon arrival, a witness gave officers information regarding where the shots originated. Officers investigated and located a vehicle believed to have been involved.
The owner of the vehicle, Fitzgerald Russaw, was detained and a revolver was collected from the vehicle. Officers attempted to do a standard check of the weapons serial number but noticed it was filed off.
Russaw was charged with possession of a firearm with altered manufactures number bringing the case to a close.
