On April 21, 2014 the Dothan Police Department arrested 23-year-old Terry Johnson of Fir Street after an arrest warrant was issued due to his involvement in a robbery that occurred on April 13th 2014.
Investigators say Johnson robbed a man at gunpoint in the 1200 block of North Cherry Street. During the robbery, Johnson took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and threatened to kill the victim if he contacted the police.
Johnson fled the scene prior to the arrival of the responding officers, but on April 21st he was taken into custody after officers stopped a vehicle that he was the passenger of.
Johnson was arrested and charged with first degree robbery. A bond amount has been set at $500,000.
Johnson’s arrest now brings this case to a close.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
