Dothan Man Arrested for Making Terror Threat Against Troy School

TROY, AL - Troy Police arrested 22-year-old Kenya Demon Flowers a black male from Dothan in connection with making a terrorist threat that was reported at approximately 8:30AM today according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.

Flowers was talking with a 17-year-old female from Troy at her residence by telephone earlier this date when they got into an argument and he allegedly made threats toward her and Charles Henderson High School. This is where she attends school.

TPD School Resource Officer reported that the victim came to school today and reported this incident to him. He relayed this information to the Detective Division. A subsequent investigation lead Troy Police detectives in obtaining a warrant for Flowers arrest.

Flowers was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:00PM in Dothan at his residence by Dothan PD and held for Troy PD detectives. Flowers was picked up by TPD detectives and transported to Troy. He was formally charged and arrested Wednesday afternoon for making a terrorist threat. His bond has been set at $15,000.00. He has been transferred to the Pike County Jail.

This case remains under investigation.
