Dothan Police Arrest Two in Theft Investigation

On January 14, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made two felony arrests following a recent theft investigation involving several vehicles that were broken into in the five hundred block of Woodburn Drive.

Investigators say Madeka Elder and Theodore Ethridge were arrested after officers received information that a vehicle registered to Elder was seen leaving the area where a car had been broken into. The vehicle was located at Elder’s home, where stolen property from multiple vehicles was recovered.

32-year-old Madeka Knight Elder, of Flynn Road has been charged with second degree Receiving Stolen Property. 33-year-old Theodore Robert Ethridge, of Flynn Road has been charged with second degree Receiving Stolen Property.

The bonds for Elder and Ethridge have been set at $2,500 each. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
