TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The Doors singer Jim Morrison, who may
be pardoned for an indecent exposure conviction, was a pretty good
student while attending Florida State University.

The university gave a copy of Morrison's transcript to The Associated Press on Friday. He attended for four trimesters beginning in 1961.

Morrison's father had defended the musician by saying he was a good student who respected authority.

Morrison received mostly As and Bs in acting, philosophy and other classes. He received Cs in a few science courses and his worst grade, a "DC" was in intermediate Spanish.

Gov. Charlie Crist will seek a pardon for Morrison, saying there is doubt Morrison actually exposed himself at a concert on March 1,
1969. Morrison died two years later while appealing his convictions.
