Daleville Man Arrested for Stealing from Dothan Lowe's

On August 13, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a theft in progress at Lowe’s (2671 Ross Clark Circle) which resulted in a felony arrest. Upon arrival, security members of Lowe’s told police they confronted the suspect after observing him load a shopping cart and then throw the items over the fence at the rear of the garden section. When they approached him he fled on foot but was quickly apprehended by the security team who detained him until police arrival.

• Marvin Nation, white male, 45 years of age, of Daleville, Alabama was arrested and charged with Second Degree Theft with a $2,500 bond.

    Good for Lowe's security team. I saw them detain a guy who was trying to push a buggy loaded with wire out the front door one day. Thieves go elsewhere! Our Lowe's is on the ball.
