DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities say a Cowarts man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to molesting three girls.
Assistant Houston County District Attorney Patrick Amason tells the Dothan Eagle that 42-year-old Joseph Jaye Vaughn pleaded guilty to seven felony charges.
The charges included first-degree sodomy, second-degree sodomy, first-degree sex abuse and four counts of sex abuse of a child under the age of 12.
Court records show some of the offenses happened in 2007, and others happened between 2008 and 2012.
