COVINGTON COUNTY, AL - On 11-11-12 at approximately 11:15 a.m., Courtney Lynn Inman, white female, age22, from the Covington Co area, was arrested by Deputies on a Escape 1st warrant from the Alabama Dept. Of Corrections.
According to information received by this agency, Ms. Inman left a D.O.C. location in Jefferson Co on 10-31-12 and did not return. Deputies received information as to her location in the Andalusia area.
After doing surveillance on her suspected location, Ms. Inman was seen entering a vehicle and traveling along South Three Notch St in Andalusia. Deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested the suspect without any resistance. She is currently in the Covington Co Jail awaiting pickup by D.O.C.
Ms. Inman had been sentenced earlier in June of 2012 for Burglary 3rd out of Covington County. Sheriff Dennis Meeks stated that this arrest is the result of dedicated Deputies doing their job to protect the citizens of Covington County.
