A Tennessee man accused of human trafficking in the Wiregrass was back in court today.

A judge issued a continuation in Alonso Santiagito’s preliminary hearing. He is accused of holding a 17-year-old-girl in a local motel.

Santiagito is being held on $280,000 bond. Investigators say he kidnapped the victim in Mississippi and forced her to engage in drugs and prostitution. His attorney says the victim made all of it up.

At this time, there is no set date for a next appearance.
