Bond Set for Gordon Shooting Suspect

GORDON, AL - Bond has been set for the teenager accused in last week's shooting in Gordon.

17-year-old Brandon Smith is being held on $10 million bond. He's charged with attempted murder, first-degree robbery and burglary, and kidnapping.

Police say Smith broke into a home on Sumler Farm Road last Thursday. He was allegedly armed with a shotgun when he forced the homeowner inside and took items.

The homeowner was shot. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Smith was arrested on Friday not far from his home.
