Bay County Sheriff Press Release

Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced the arrest of three Rutherford High School students on drug charges.

At about 11 am today several students at the high school were observed conducting what appeared to be a drug transaction.

It was reported to the school principal who called the school resource deputy.

An investigation was conducted by the SRD and three students are believed to be involved in the sale of marijuana on school property.

Arrested and now facing felony drug charges was Randolph John Hodges, 17 years of age, of 401 S. Burkett Drive, Callaway, for of Sale of Controlled Substance-Marijuana; Austin Michael Simons, 15 years of age, of 727 Arrow Street, Callaway, for Purchase of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana; and Joseph Houston Jordan, 16 years of age, of 1404 Foster Avenue, Panama City, for Purchase of a Controlled Substance.
