Bay Co. Man Arrested for Shake-n-Bake Meth Lab

Bay County Sheriff’s Office Warrants deputies discovered a meth lab this morning about 9 am at 8210 Woodleigh Road in Bayou George.

Warrants deputies went to the home on Woodleigh Road looking for Johnny Wayne Hodges. There was a warrant for Hodges on Violation of Probation for Felony Habitual Driving With License Suspended or Revoked.

Although Hodges attempted to hide, deputies located him within the home as he was trying to dispose of a meth lab he had placed within a backpack.

Special Investigations Division narcotics officers were called to the home and confiscated the “Shake and Bake” style meth lab. Hodges now faces charges of Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Manufacture of Paraphernalia, Possession of Listed Chemicals (Sudafed), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
