Bay Co. Sheriff Investigates Debit Card Fraud

The Bay County Sheriff's Office is investigating the fraudulent use of a stolen debit card at a drug store in Panama City. Captured on store security cameras, investigators are asking for the public to help identify the suspect.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at approximately 8:53 PM, a black male used the victim's debit card to purchase about $35 in items from Walgreens. The suspect is described as a black male who appears to be in his 20's, between 5'6" and 5'10", medium build and was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie, a light-colored shirt underneath the hoodie, dark pants, white athletic shoes, a yellow baseball cap and had an earring in his left ear. The individual was possibly walking or riding a bicycle.

The suspect went on to conduct four additional transactions with the stolen credit card for a total of $180.42 at two different convenience stores.
