A Florida babysitter is accused of trying to smother a child.
The baby's mother told Gainesville police she came home to find the 21-year-old sitter standing over the crib, holding a pillow over the child's face.
When the mother yelled at her, the woman released the pillow and asked her not to call the police.
The sitter told police she was trying to calm the baby down and she was tickling its face with the pillow.
The baby was checked out by doctors and is healthy.
The sitter is charged with aggravated child abuse and battery on a child.
