The Bay County Sheriff’s office responded to 10936 Johnson Boulevard in Youngstown in reference to the burglary of an occupied dwelling on February 16, 2011.
The victim told deputies that a former boyfriend, Allen Newsome, had come to her home the night before uninvited. She stated she had seen him earlier in the day during his visitation time with their child. When she opened the door, the victim stated that Newsome forced his way into the home. The victim told deputies that Newsome began yelling at her and then left, only to return a short time later. When she refused to come out of the home and talk with him he took her pit bull puppy.
A warrant was issued for Allen Newsome, DOB 1/23/86, of 352 Springfield Avenue. Newsome was arrested on March 7, 2011 and charged with Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling Battery Within and Grand Theft. Newsome was taken to the Bay County Jail.
