MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are looking for an inmate they
say escaped from a state prison in Mobile.
Alabama Department of Corrections officials say 38-year-old
Kenneth Duane Swanger was discovered missing around 8 p.m. Saturday during a routine inmate count at the prison.
The white male is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and
weighing 200 pounds. He has black hair and a tattoo on his left arm
that reads, "Bankas."
He was serving an eight-year sentence after being convicted of
theft by deception, second-degree.
