PAHOKEE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in West Palm Beach say they
have caught the man who killed one person and injured five others at a nightclub shooting last month.
Tavares Akeem Lawler is to appear before a judge Sunday, a day after police received a tip that he was staying at an area hotel.
The Palm Beach County sheriff's office says the 26-year-old
surrendered and confessed when confronted by police officers.
He faces several charges including first-degree murder and seven counts of attempted murder.
The Nov. 13 shooting at Club Coco in Pahokee left 21-year-old
Paul Buxton Jr. dead and five others wounded.
