Authorities Arrest Dothan Man for Burglary

On Saturday, October 5th the Dothan Police Department responded to the 400 block of Johnson Circle in reference to a burglary complaint, involving 43-year-old Charlie Cooper of East Stough Street.

Investigators say Cooper forcibly entered the victim’s apartment, while she was still inside the residence. Upon officer’s arrival, Cooper attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended.

Cooper was arrested and charged with second degree Burglary, bringing this case to a close.

A bond amount has been set at $30,000.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
