MIAMI, Fla. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a South Florida man accused of shooting and wounding five people in December.

U.S. Marshals and Miami Gardens police detectives arrested 23-year-old Joshua Ezra Everett on Friday at a Miami-Dade commuter
train station. Everett has been charged with five counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

The Marshals Service reports that Everett got into an argument with a group of men outside his home, shortly after midnight Dec. 26. Authorities say he went into his home, grabbed an AR-15 rifle and opened fire on the group. Police say Everett wounded five people and hit a passing vehicle occupied by a woman and her 2-year-old son.

Based on witness statements, authorities issued a warrant for Everett's arrest last week.

Get all mad and grab up your gun never solves any thing, only causes a lot more problems. You have got to ask your self, is this worth going to prison for.A lot of people in prison now say,{ if only I'd stopped to think about what I was doing, and after I'd done it I was sick at heart. Only if I'd considered my fate,I'd never have done it.}This person spent his young life in prison, can you imagine spending 30 years, watching your 20's, 30's,40's, go by.No children,no nothing. Please think about what you're doing or this will be your story.
