Two Ashford residents were arrested on Thursday, June 6 after a routine traffic stop resulted in a drug arrest.
According to Ashford Police, Jon Wynn Jarrard, 39, and Amber Shari Dunn, 27, were stopped by police in the 800 Block of Peach Farm Road in Ashford. During the stop, officers discovered evidence of a possible clandestine laboratory.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered all the chemicals and equipment needed for the production of methamphetamine. Police believe the offenders were in route to set up the lab and start the production of methamphetamine.
Jarrard and Dunn were arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance. They will be held in the Houston County Jail under $100,000.
