Arrest Made for Stealing Checks

On September 13, 2011 the Dothan Police Department investigative division made a felony arrest following a recent investigation. Police say Kelsey Nicole Ward was arrested for taking five checks belonging to the victim and cashing them at local establishments. The case has now been closed following this arrest.

• Kelsey Nicole Ward, white female, 20 years of age, of Aberdeen Road was arrested and charged with Second Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument with a $2,500 bond.

    It's about time they got her! She deserves a few years at least. She has done ALOT of people wrong and also has stole from jobs and friends. Noone hire her. This girl has severe problems.

    She had a job and was taking from them too. Sad but I don't feel sorry for her. I bet she aint wearing those high heels in jail.

    I bet the bond was more than the checks she cashed.There's such a thing as getting a job and getting you some money. This very thing works out great for me and you don't have to deal with getting caught and going to jail and getting a record. CRIME don't pay.
