Alabama Man Killed After Baltimore Fireworks Display

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who fatally stabbed an Alabama man in the neck with a broken bottle during a fight following the city's July 4th fireworks display.

Police released a cell phone photo of a suspect on Tuesday and
identified the victim as 26-year-old Joe Calo of Opelika, Ala.

A 4-year-old child was also struck in the leg by a bullet following the fireworks display and police say they are investigating whether the boy was hit by a stray bullet fired into the air.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake also appeared at the news
conference, saying she was very concerned about how the incidents
may affects those considering visiting the city, and urged anyone
with information about the incidents to come forward.
