DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- A south Alabama woman is free after pleading guilty in the abduction of her teen-aged daughter last year.

The Dothan Eagle reports that 33-year-old Julie Bethke of Clayton received probation after pleading guilty to interfering with child custody on Wednesday. The full article can be seen here, http://bit.ly/ZXErRk.

Records show she was freed from custody after a judge suspended a four-year prison sentence and granted her probation. She had been held on bonds totaling $350,000.

Bethke's husband, Charles Dean Partin, awaits trial on felony charges in the same case.

Authorities say Bethke's daughter was in state custody when she was abducted from a doctor's office in Dothan in September.

The couple led authorities on a multi-state manhunt before officers captured them in Ohio.
